Paint a Cardiff Sky Line
This relaxing and easy painting workshop will see you painting your own Cardiff landmarks sky line. I will gently lead you through painting a beautiful sky and the then on to the buildings that we know and love.
All materials are included (except alcohol, which you can BYO and we have glasses!). Tea, coffee and biscuits provided, and feel free to bring your own bubbly if you like. Come on your own, or with friends, you'll be very welcome.
Paint a Disco Ball
Come and paint a disco ball with Quil! This is an optical illusion painting on a 30cm circular canvas (which is flat) but with some easy painting tricks it looks 3-D. You can choose your colours and have a 'ball' using acrylic paints. All materials are included (except alcohol, which you can BYO and we have glasses!) Tea, coffee and biscuits provided, and feel free to bring your own bubbly if you like. Come on your own, or with friends, you'll be very welcome. The disco tunes will be playing!
Art Summer School (age 12+)
Release your inner artist during these three sessions of Summer Art School. Each session will encourage creativity and the use of artistic painting techniques to create fabulous paintings to take home.
The three sessions are:
Mon 11th Aug 10am-1pm - mini canvas paintings
Tue 12th Aug 10am-1pm - galaxy sky and silhouettes
Wed 13th Aug 10am-1pm - 3D effect disco ball, circle canvas
You can either book all three sessions, or individual sessions.
Age guide is 12 +. Parents are not expected to stay, but please leave a phone number we can contact you on if need be.
Ceramic Christmas Gonks
A brand new workshop for 2025 making your very own Santa gonk decoration.
Every one of these little gnomes is bursting with personality, and you can use letters and images from my huge stamp collection to decorate and personalise your little Santa as well.
This workshop is beginner friendly and needs no previous clay experience as you will be led through the creation of your decoration from beginning to end.
All materials and equipment is provided, as well as biscuits and teas/coffees. Firing and glazing your chosen colour will happen after the workshop and your gnome will be available to collect 2-3 weeks later.
Book early as this is in the small studio at Lark, so there are very limited spaces.

You can use letters and images from my huge stamp collection to decorate and personalise your little robins, and these do make a lovely gift for a loved one if you can bare to part with one of them!
This workshop is beginner friendly and needs no previous clay experience as you will be led through the creation of your decorations from beginning to end.

You will get to make three individual decorations choosing from a variety of shapes including: gingerbread people, hearts, trees, stars, baubles and even a little house!
